FAQ

Where are all of the images taken?
All of the images are taken in the beautiful South West of Western Australia (unless otherwise stated). We have an amazing stretch of coastline, which expands approximately 150 kms from cape naturaliste to cape Leeuwin.

How often do you take these photos?
I take photos Monday to Friday. The images are sent via daily email and also updated on the home page / blog screen on the website.

Who is behind the lens?
All photos are taken by award winning photographer Joel Nankivell. He is the man running the whole Southwest Saltwater, and he aspires to give people their little slice of this amazing coastline.

What camera equipment is used?
Shooting at the beach everyday demands expert and rugged camera gear, which is why I use the Canon EOS 5D Mark iii and a series of Professional Canon Lenses. I also use a professional surf housing from Aquatech Imaging Solutions to capture all of my “in and under” water photography.

Do you digitally manipulate your photos?
All of my images are shot on a digital camera, and are processed via computer. I use minimal editing on my photos and I never create a false scene. What your eye sees and what the camera produces are sometimes very different, so I always try to reproduce the scene from how it was through my eyes.

Do you ship Overseas?
Yes, we do ship overseas, but to avoid high shipping fees, we do not ship large framed or Acrylic Face mount prints. This is because the weight and fragile nature of the prints cause the shipping fees to be excessively high. We do ship all sizes of Digital Prints as they can be rolled up into mailing tubes and shipped anywhere in the world. Please contact us for a shipping quote via email.

Do you sell High Resolution Digital’s of your images images?
No I do not.
