I've had a busy week and haven't really had a chance to get down and take photos, but I have lots of exciting ventures in the works at the moment! I wanted to at least get one email out, so here are some photos from this time last week at a fun bank somewhere in the South West.
Enjoy!

We had pumping surf today in the South West, with a large swell and clean offshore winds. I checked the usual spots in the morning and made the drive to North Point as I had a feeling it would be pumping. Jay Davies and some younger crew were out shredding which made taking photos all the better!

The last day of September and I thought I would finish it with some sunset photos from the other night down at Other Side of the Moon. It's been an amazing month Down South, with the arrival of Spring, plenty of whales and dolphins, and some amazing surf. Bring on October!

We had some incredible conditions for surf over the long weekend, and even better sunsets and moon rises! I managed to capture some great images, but my favourite would have to be yesterday afternoons Rising Moon near Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse.
I was down at the beach the day before capturing the sunset, and on my walk back, I noticed the full moon rising up behind the scrub. I frantically ran back to the car to position myself so the moon was in the same frame as the lighthouse, but on that day I was too late. The next afternoon I went back, found my position and was so lucky to get an incredible sunset which lit up the sky, a break in the clouds which the moon sat in between, and the lighthouse beaming its light toward the moon.
Enjoy!

Last nights sunset was soaking its vibrant colours over the ocean like a sheet of silk, and waves were being surfed just around the corner. I am stoked that I am now able to take my dog down to beach with me while I photograph (she is pictured below)!

It really feels like Spring has kicked in today! We have some amazing weather outside and the waves are still hanging around with some clean offshore winds. I checked a few spots this morning and photographed each stop off along the way.

We had great surf and weather over the weekend, especially sunday! There was a mega crowd out at North Point with pumping waves, and I missed out on Taj Burrow and Jack Robinson towing out there in the early morning! Oh well, can't win em' all!
Todays surf was also epic, I managed to score some shots of empty waves down from Cape Naturaliste light house (featured some shots in this email, but will post more this week).
Enjoy!

Spring has well and truly sprung today! There was perfect offshore winds, an inviting size swell, and plenty of wild flowers out in blossom. Get out there and enjoy this beautiful weather if you can!

There was some stormy weather over the weekend, which brought plenty of fun waves over to the left point breaks around Cape Naturaliste. The images featured in this email were taken last week as I didn't get a chance to photograph over the weekend, or today.

With terrible weather battering the South West today, I thought I would try and brighten everyones day with pictures from 2 days ago at Sugarloaf Rock. There was a dolphin frenzy and perfect waves down at Sugarloaf bay, with only the masters of the ocean surfing. I stayed down for around 4 hours photographing the dolphins, and I captured so many great shots (still have plenty more to come in upcoming emails).
Enjoy!
